OCR revision from your own notes

Paste your class notes, a PDF or your slides. Aripsy turns them into revision notes, flashcards and exam-style questions that follow OCR's command words and mark allocations, and marks what you write. Below: every OCR subject page we have, the 2027 dates, and the official OCR pages for timetables and grade boundaries.

How Aripsy uses your OCR material

  1. 01

Choose OCR, the level and the subject, then paste your notes or upload a PDF, slides or a Word file.

  2. 02

Aripsy writes revision notes from your material, then flashcards and exam-style questions that follow OCR's command words and mark allocations.

  3. 03

Answer in writing. Aripsy marks against mark-scheme-style points and tells you what you earned, what you missed and one way to improve.

  4. 04

Review the flashcards on a spaced schedule and redo the questions you got wrong before the paper.

What is official and what is generated

Specifications, timetables, past papers and grade boundaries belong to OCR; this page links to them and never copies them. Notes, flashcards and questions are generated from the material you provide, in OCR's style, and every mark Aripsy gives is an estimate to check against your teacher's judgement.

Questions about Aripsy and this board

Does Aripsy have OCR past papers?

No. Past papers and mark schemes are OCR's copyright. Aripsy links to the official OCR pages and makes new exam-style questions from your own notes instead.

Are the questions in OCR's style?

Yes. When you choose OCR, questions use the command words and mark allocations OCR publishes for that subject and level, and answers are marked against points in that style. They are practice questions, not official ones.

Is it free?

Yes. The Free plan makes notes, flashcards and sample practice questions from pasted text and marks a few answers a day with no card. Pro adds full practice sets, uploads and more answer checks.

My subject is not listed. Can I still use it?

Yes. The subject pages are examples of what Aripsy makes for popular OCR courses. The study tool accepts any subject: pick OCR and your level, and paste your own notes.

Where do the exam dates come from?

The 2027 dates on the exam-dates pages follow the JCQ common timetable, which OCR uses. Always check the timetable your school gives you.
