Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Aripsy ("Aripsy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Aripsy, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Cancellation policy.

If you're under 18, please read them with a parent or carer.

Aripsy is a study tool. It turns study material you provide into notes, flashcards, practice questions and other revision aids, and can estimate marks for practice answers.

AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts against your course materials, official specifications and your teachers. Aripsy is independent and not endorsed by any exam board. It does not guarantee any grade or result.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Aripsy.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. Your account is for you only.
• Don't create extra accounts to get around plan limits.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create. You give us permission to store, process, display and share it (when you create a share link) only to provide Aripsy to you. This includes sending it to our AI provider to generate your study materials.

Only upload material you have the right to use. Don't upload other people's personal information unless you need it for studying and are allowed to share it.

Don't use Aripsy to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright
• submit AI-generated work as your own where your school, university or exam board doesn't allow it
• harass, impersonate or harm others, or share harmful or illegal content
• upload malware, overload the service, scrape it, reverse engineer it or get around limits and security
• resell Aripsy or use it for a commercial service without our written agreement

If you see content on Aripsy that is illegal, harmful or infringes your rights, including copyright, email support@aripsy.com with the link and the reason. We'll review it promptly and may remove it, suspend share links or close accounts that repeatedly break these terms.

• Free plans are free and don't need a card. Paid plans and their prices are shown on our pricing page, including any taxes that apply.
• Paddle sells paid plans to you as our merchant of record, so Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. One-time passes don't renew.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage subscription. You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change the price of your subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first.
• Refunds are explained in our Refunds & Cancellation policy. It doesn't limit your legal rights.

We improve Aripsy all the time and may change features or limits. If a change significantly reduces what you've paid for during a paid period, we'll tell you in advance. You can then cancel and get a refund for the unused part of that period.

You can stop using Aripsy and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or to protect other users. Where we can, we'll explain why first. If we close a paid account when you haven't broken these terms, we'll refund the unused part of your payment.

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable.

Aripsy is for personal study. We aren't responsible for business losses. Because AI outputs can be wrong, you're responsible for checking them before relying on them. We aren't responsible for grades, exam results or coursework outcomes.

Apart from the above, our total responsibility to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and £100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

The Aripsy name, logo, software and design belong to us or our licensors. You may use Aripsy as these terms allow, but you may not copy or reuse them otherwise. If you send feedback, we may use it to improve Aripsy.

Some features rely on other services, such as Sign in with Google, Paddle checkout, or AI assistants you choose to connect. Their own terms apply to how you use them.

We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. For important changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before the change applies. Minor changes, such as fixing wording, take effect when we publish them.

If you have a problem, please contact support@aripsy.com first. Most issues can be solved quickly.

If you live in the UK, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring claims in the courts of England and Wales, or in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer this agreement to someone who takes over Aripsy, and we'll tell you if we do; your rights won't be reduced.
